Park Chan-wook’s "Stoker” is a haunting and gothic thriller that seems spellbinding and intense. It stars Nicole Kidman who I usually try to avoid after the move atrocity “The Others” and the blasphemous “Bewitched” but this film actually may draw me back in. After Matthew Goode is hot and that dark twisted character he plays in this film is demonically luscious!
“After India’s father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him.”
The film is slated for release March 1, 2013.
