“Siyaah” is a classic dark story of nightmares of a family forced suffer for being “non-believers”. Make no mistake though because this is straight up horror story that as the film’s director states “is a skin-crawling punch of which will leave you squealing with fear and anxiety. It is quite an accomplishment for Director Azfar Jafri who will see a nationwide release of his work in Pakistan on March 15th. The country isn’t known for tolerating anything that may be perceived as weighted with Western influence. “Siyaah” stars Hareem Farooq, Qazi Jabbar, Mahnoor Usman, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Aslam Rana, Sofia Wanchoo Mir, Rizwana, Sarwar Salimi and Amy Saleh.
