Trailer Released For Indie Slasher “Hogmaul: The Legend Of Abrams County”

hogmaulThe official released date for indie horror “Hogmaul: The Legend Of Abrams County” hasn’t yet been announced. While we wait for this very interesting indie slasher flick, shot on a ultra low budget, an official trailer has been released. The film is directed by Nap Bishop and stars Davy Lantz, Jr., Chrissy DelPrete, Cori Coulter, Jen Wanner, Jeff Miner and Grinnd Fluever. The new official trailer is a real testament to the cast and crews passion to create a fun and entertaining horror film. Check out the new official trailer below.

Earlier in the year I had a chance to get a bit more sense of the film’s vibe in an interview with Nap Bishop. Then again earlier this summer I received a copy of the film’s soundtrack which highlights the films overall feel and atmosphere. I have to say that rockabilly hasn’t always been my music of choice. I have a few modern and early bands that I listen to often but I never kept up with it day to day. This soundtrack has given me a new understanding and appreciation for the genre and Nap Bishop-who contributes several tunes to the soundtrack. Overall it is a great flowing blend of traditional bluegrass fusion with contemporary rockabilly. There is a feel to the tracks that offer a haunting, melancholic pulse mixed with black humored upswing tunes that melds perfectly with the film’s location and subject matter.

A murderous legend born in 1953 returns to a small rural Pennsylvania town. Killer? Cryptid? Myth? Can your reeling mind handle the head-hammering madness? You will cringe at the gore! You will thrill to legend-hunting hotties! You will laugh until you kill! Watch HogMaul. This little piggy takes YOU to market!
